In 2019, the engagement rate for Instagram influencers with at least 10,000 followers was steady at about 3.6% worldwide. Those with 1,000 to 5,000, however, had the highest rate at 8.8%, per Influencer. Essentially, engagement gets better with the fewer followers you have, meaning a nano influencer might produce the same amount of likes, saves, and clicks than one with a higher follower count.
